Ritual of Friendship

Please don't forget to sign and pass along the Ritual of Friendship Book found in the center aisle end of each pew of the sanctuary.  Include your address and phone number and indicate if you'd like to be contacted.  It's one of our little ways of getting to know new faces in Worship.

Since there are a number of new faces this year  this is a friendly reminder to please make sure all monthly informer articles are submitted to the church office no later than the Sunday immediately following the meeting of the Session which is the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Kroger Rewards Renewal 

It’s Time

To renew the Kroger Community Rewards Program for 2015

All participants must sign up yearly (beginning the month of April and continuing into May) for the program in order to earn funds for our Scrip Program in 2015. Complete details for sign up are found in the April Informer monthly newsletter.

Mission

Take-a-Sack for Lighthouse

April is the month to bring donations of food and personal items for our “Take a Sack, Bring it Back” project. All items will be taken to Lighthouse North where distribution takes place.


Sacks (with a list of suggested items) will be available beginning March 31st. They will be located on card tables near each major church entrance during April.


You can bring your food and personal items any time during the month of April. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.


Mom2Mom Sale May 30th

Time to start collecting your used baby, child, and teen items in your home for our 3rd annual Mom2Mom sale.  Proceeds will benefit the Youth Group trip to the New Wilmington Mission Conference.  Contact Julie Stinson or Lori Warholak to rent space or donate items.


Christian Education

Third Graders Wanted!

If your child is in the Third Grade this year, please submit their name(s) to the church office by the April 30.  Then, mark your calendar for a special presentation on May 17 during service.  All third graders will receive bibles from Christian Education Committee.  Age-appropriate bibles will help the children follow the teachings of Jesus and grow closer to scripture.


Calling All High School, College and Trade School Grads

Any congregation member graduating this year from high school, college or any other institute of higher learning, please let us know by submitting your name, school of graduation and a brief statement of your future goals to the church office by April 30.  All grads will be honored during a June service.  Look in the May Informer for more information.  Thank you for helping us celebrate your extraordinary accomplishment.
